Useless Useless Useless!!

Our leaders are always in a denial mode whenever there are legitimate criticisms levied at our govt or our policies while at the same time feeling they have a divine right to pinpoint the inadequacies of other less unfortunate countries.
This statement sums it all up i.e. the state of our leadership.

You know, our so-called leaders are such a delusional bunch of morons. Either that, or they’re in 100% denial all the time.
Each time a negative report is published regarding the country’s rankings in different areas e.g. our drop in ranking in the Corruption Index, the rising crime rate, M’sia ranked one of the rudest city in the world, all these so-called leaders can say is “Oh, that’s just a perception and doesn’t reflect the true situation”.
The most recent article I’ve read on Malaysiakini.com… according to one of the Ministers in the PM’s dept, Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz, Malaysia should not be compared to countries like Singapore in terms of corruption because “Singapore is not a real country, it is a small island. Singapore’s population is only 3-4 million and there are no opportunities for corruption, unlike our country.”
If that’s not one of the lamest excuse given to explain the rampant corruption in our country, I don’t know what is.
Why can’t these people take the findings as motivation to improve the situation instead of coming up with stupid statements to rebutt each and every negative report that comes out? Come on, it’s not like the figures in these reports are plucked from the sky. There has to be a basis to come up with the report and those agencies that prepare and publish those reports would at least, get that right, as their reputation is on the line.
Which is far from what I can say about our so-called leaders. All sorts of stupid and nonsensical things they can say, sometimes so incredulous that I’m rendered speechless.
I think our entire govt. should be revamped and those useless morons sitting there for 20+years and with mentalities that are probably mouldy with age should just stop talking and bury themselves so they can stop embarrassing themselves and humiliating the rest of us in this country.
