Haha… I don’t think I’ll ever understand local politics. Coz there are obvious things that any average person would know should/shouldn’t be done to make things better. Changes which should have happened years ago but have not. Actions that are blatantly obvious and require plain common sense, staring at us right in front of our eyes, that should be taken, but the powers-that-be choose to ignore them.

So, IMHO, my choices are pretty limited, seeing that integrity and common sense seems to delude our dear leaders.

that is a defeatist stand. by doing so, we are just digging our own grave faster. thus i took to understand local politics better than i may make a good choice later this year.

Exactly. Which is why sometimes I wonder what’s the use of us voting coz there are no candidates with character to vote for anyway. Coz either way you choose, it’s the same thing.

we should not vote along racial lines, i would still vote BN if the candidate is good and honest. I prefer to go for character rather than party.

the sad thing is, there arent many ppl with moral leanings in parliament. apparently, as Lim kit siang tried to motion the JB crime-mania in parliament, he got no support from ANY BN reps.

its tragic when the elected reps do not dare to represent the very ppl who voted them in. even the JB MP also kept quiet! shame on him.

Ask any reporter covering parliament proceedings and he will tell you how arrogant and stupid that Minister from Perak is! Its a real disgrace to the government and the Malay race!

Fortunately or unfortunately, I’ve never voted so I can’t say that I voted for them.

But yes, I’ve already registered myself and will do my part in the next elections.

hey, we voted them in the first place, so who are we to complaint? the members of parliament if you look at their credentials, most of them so not have a proper degree, if they have, look how many of them got their masters. (forget about honorary stuff).

maybe i will be a smarter voter this time round.
