Crummy, dejected, despondent, disconsolate, dispirited, lugubrious, morose, woebegone, burt, peeved, pained.

Bollixed up, crabbed, embittered, flummoxed, irked, stymied, annoyed, disgruntled, querulous, vexed.

Chagrined, confounded, crushed, discombobulated, disconcerted, fuddled, perturbed, rattled, stumped, stupefied.

Hhhmm… what other words can I think of to describe how my general mood is…

Very displeased about something… but I’ve done all I can…

Have I mentioned before that I really detest injustice? Especially if it’s directed at me for no apparent reason? Or the reason isn’t clear-cut, obvious to me. It just makes me boil!

Sunday night’s performance was mediocre, at best. Mine, that is.

My main gripe was the long waiting time. We’d initially thought we were supposed to go on at 9:30pm. But then we got a call to say we weren’t supposed to dance till 10:00pm. Then another call to say we should only go down (to the ballroom) at 10:20pm.

I didn’t know exactly what time we went on but by the time we were done, it was 11:30pm. And I hadn’t had dinner coz I thought we were going to go on at around 9-something and since I take a significantly longer time than others to get ready, I forgoed my food and worked on my makeup instead.

Tengok-tengok, we had almost 1 hour to spare, waiting for the cue to standby. Haish…

Waiting for so long was kind of potong steam, as Michelle put it. The adrenaline rush that you get when preparing for a performance sizzles out when you have to wait exceptionally long to go on.

BUT…

All said, I absolutely support the cause that we were dancing for.

End Note : I finally had my dinner at 12-something AM and got to bed at 2:00am. Which gave me about 4.5 hours of sleep that night.

*YAWN*

Errr… do we need to remind anyone from WHICH PARTY the infamous “keris” episode originated from? Some people should think clearly before accusing other people of “disturbing the nation’s harmony and causing unease among the community”. Geez, talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

If one were sincere and earnest in performing one’s job, then one has nothing to be afraid of and anyone can say anything they want to because “the truth will prevail”. Heard of that before? Because ultimately, you can’t stop every single person who has something bad to say about you, whether it’s true or not.

Hey, if they wanna nab everyone who tells a “lie” about them, they’ve gotta stake out every single place! Your local mamak stalls, supermarkets, shopping malls, kedai runcit, everywhere! It’s not very fair to just target those who tell “lies” online, right? I mean, if you wanna do something, have to do it all the way and do it right, no?

Seems like they’ve got lots of time and manpower for things like this instead of focusing on the more pressing and urgent issues like oh, say, the increasing crime rate in the country? How many more snatch thefts need to happen, how many more murders, how many more rapes, before they even admit that there’s a problem?

Like, hello, where are your priorities???

Me feels a headache coming on again…

Me and another colleague were sneezing in the office, another was coughing, and one more was on MC.

Gawd, please please please please please please please don’t let me get sick again this weekend coz I’ve got a show!!!!!

When I’ve got a moment to catch my breath (like now, lying in bed doing nothing, hehe), and the mind wanders, I wonder why so many of us fret over every little thing…

Given the frailty of life and the current condition of the world we live in, we might as well just enjoy ourselves and take it one day at a time.

Until…

Something like stepping on my cat’s puke jolts me back to my senses and back to the real world.

Am not sure if this is the same Pomeranian as my previous post but here are some further details :

Chi Chi is a 9 yr old Pomeranian and needs a good home to go to. Her owner is leaving the country in 2 weeks’ time and is unable to bring her as  she is medically unfit to travel to the USA.

Chi Chi has a collapsed trachea and sometimes faces breathing difficulty. The attack comes up when the dog is too excited. Her condition was first diagnosed in year 2002 and the last attack was inApril 2007. She needs to be on medication which costs RM40 -60 per month. 

Temperament-wise, she is good with other dogs and with people as well.

We are looking a dog lover who is able to take care of the dog with lots of time and TLC to spare.

I had an amazing experience with Streamyx personnel today!

Couldn’t get online at work (we have a direct Streamyx connection with one laptop) so I called their Customer Service to report the problem. Went thru the usual troubleshooting with the first level, it still couldn’t work. Then they passed me to their second level (technician), went thru more troubleshooting but it still wouldn’t work. So the technician gave me my report no. and said they would send someone onsite to look at the problem within 1 working day.

Five minutes later, a TM guy calls me and tells me that he’ll be at my office around 3pm today to fix the problem. Cool! I thought. They’re quite efficient. For once.

2:40pm, the guy comes, changes the modem with a new IP and voila! A working connection in about 10 minutes!

Now THAT’S what I call Customer Service!

Thanks to Streamyx and TM for fixing the problem so efficiently.

Btw, did I mention that all this took place within 4 hours? Compared to last time, this is 100% improvement!

Just thought I’d share this coz I’ve had the misfortune of having to deal with their less-than-efficient process some time back, where I had to keep calling them to find out the status and all they could tell me was that they had escalated the case and no, they cannot give me the number of their technical team.

Keep up the good work, Streamyx/TM! Let’s hope it lasts ya.
