I had an amazing experience with Streamyx personnel today!

Couldn’t get online at work (we have a direct Streamyx connection with one laptop) so I called their Customer Service to report the problem. Went thru the usual troubleshooting with the first level, it still couldn’t work. Then they passed me to their second level (technician), went thru more troubleshooting but it still wouldn’t work. So the technician gave me my report no. and said they would send someone onsite to look at the problem within 1 working day.

Five minutes later, a TM guy calls me and tells me that he’ll be at my office around 3pm today to fix the problem. Cool! I thought. They’re quite efficient. For once.

2:40pm, the guy comes, changes the modem with a new IP and voila! A working connection in about 10 minutes!

Now THAT’S what I call Customer Service!

Thanks to Streamyx and TM for fixing the problem so efficiently.

Btw, did I mention that all this took place within 4 hours? ;) Compared to last time, this is 100% improvement!

Just thought I’d share this coz I’ve had the misfortune of having to deal with their less-than-efficient process some time back, where I had to keep calling them to find out the status and all they could tell me was that they had escalated the case and no, they cannot give me the number of their technical team.

Keep up the good work, Streamyx/TM! Let’s hope it lasts ya.
