Have we no heart?

“Malaysia last year lifted a 23-year ban on the export of long-tailed macaques from the peninsular, saying they had become an urban pest and were attacking people and stealing food.”
What gives us the right to destroy their homes and then blame them from becoming urban pests, attacking people and stealing food in order to survive?
What gives us the right to force them out of their homes and then approve a move that allows people to send them to foreign environments in which they have no experience in surviving? Most likely, they’ll probably end up as some exotic dinner dish or used in animal experimentation or fall in the hands of unscrupulous people who will use and abuse them for their own evil intentions.
I shall let my family and friends tell you about me. These comments may be rather old but I think the gist of them still hold
