Anticipated Serendipity

New Things Everyday

January28

Some new things I recently learned…

  • Capuchin monkeys are trained as live-in companions to assist quadraplegic and people with severe spinal cord injuries or mobility-impairments by a nonprofit organization called Helping Hands. (I’ve only known of service dogs thus far. Now there’s even service monkeys!)
  • Fresh cherries are actually yummy! Specifically Tasmanian cherries ;) Not like their cough-meds tasting preserved ones that normally come with cakes. Or those cherry-flavored cough drops. Yeck!
  • Adjustable heels!!!!! I think this is such a cool invention for women who commute via public transport. No need to lug around a pair of slippers/shoes to change into for the commute! But it’s quite pricey for a pair of shoes, though…
