And also to Sam, who’s getting married next weekend!! Woo hoooo!!! We’ll be missing her at BUM SenanC says she’s been really bubbly-fied at work these few weeks, hehe… am gonna miss this bunch when I move on.

I dunno which is worse :

1. Dense-ness – are they really that clueless?
2. Indecisiveness – like, make up your mind already?
3. Failure to plan – and uh, why the hell not?!

Last week, we had an ex-VS meet at Ryan’s place. It was really good fun… we’d all been thru the same shit at VS and we were always there for each other thru those endless nights. Oh, we earned our battle scars together alright and I guess that’s why we still have that bond

Over latte at Coffee Bean later in the night, naturally, the boys carried on their conversation about automobiles on one end of the table while the gals went into their favorite topic : men

The gals are all married, excluding me… so they were talking about their husbands and their characters. Like, how some men are great around the house while others can’t pick up after themselves. And how some are great with the kids but wouldn’t lift a finger with the housework. And how some men must be the breadwinner of the family and the one who takes care of all the family expenses and the wife must do all the housework.

On a sidenote, it’s good to see them all happily married, given the no work-life balance policy at VS, haha. We were all single when we were at VS and we were constantly lamenting how we spend more time socializing with our PCs than with other ppl, lol!

CL shared something that I’d heard about some time ago. That men must have one of the following 3 vices :

1. Smoking/drinking
2. Gambling
3. Womanizing

Failing which, there must be something wrong with them.

Now, I remain neutral on this because I know some men who do have one or more of these vices but I also know men who are squeaky clean. Unless they are really that good at covering things up.

Yes, I know women equally have their own bad habits. I’m not denying that But hey, when you get a bunch of gals together, of course we’ll be talking about men!

LOL! I remember the time when I dragged Merv to HRC for dinner and to watch them perform live.

I was 25, so was Merv. Between the both of us, we’d probably raised the median age of the crowd that day, LOL!

But I like their songs!  So what if they happen to be cute and young… They can carry off a live show much better than some boybands who call themselves singers.

And no, I wasn’t one of the screaming girls there. I just watched silently from the side/back

One thing that I noticed when I was at the mall last night was that… there were SOOOOO many people!

Before my movie (around 9pm), there were tons of people queuing up to buy tickets and their popcorn/drink at the cinema lobby.

After my movie (around 12am), there were just as many people! :-O

I was telling MichC, these people don’t have work, is it?! Am I the only one who needs to go home and get some sleep before getting up early for work the next day?!

MichC was telling me that she discovered that there seems to be a lot of people who are freelancing, at whatever jobs they are doing. Since she’s also one of them, she’s been going to malls during working hours and she says the malls are always packed!

Anyway, the movie was fun. Quite the typical chick flick but there were some nice clothes and shoes

In the movie, Carrie was reading a book… can’t remember the exact title of the book but it contained love letters from famous men to their lovers like Beethoven, Napolean, Keats, Van Gogh, etc.
