Something to live up to

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

Female, aged 30 and above, unmarried = Loser?

Heard this on mix.fm on the way to work this morning.

"Women aged 30 and above who are not married are losers. What do you think?"

What do I think??? Hell, NO!!

What's wrong with being a woman aged 30 and above and not married? In fact, what's wrong with not getting married ...

What kind of @#$%?!

What kind of sick man tells his partner that even though he hits her, he is still better than other men because he doesn't visit prostitutes????

Came across this recently and was dumbfounded.

Seriously, men like this exist! *shakes head in disbelief*

Small Change, Big Effect

It's amazing how a slight change to one's hairstyle can make such a big impact.

So I trimmed my hair, cut a bit of fringe, highlighted it, and changed the parting.

And I've gotten comments that I look thinner (haha!) and that I look better.

*beams* :D

The gist of it…

ok... I haven't finished reading the book yet... but the gist of it is... if a guy is really into you, he will have no problems displaying the following behaviors :

He will call when he says he'll call... and he will call regardless how busy he is.
	He will do the ...

*Disclaimer : This is a general topic of interest with no reference to any person, dead or living. ;)

The differences between the male and female psyche is quite an interesting topic. Me and the girlfriends could talk about this topic for hours and not get bored, as well as ...

My one weakness (out of many)

I've come to realize, more so in the past half year, that I am not a very forgiving person.

I'm not sure this bodes well for myself nor people around me.

My Religion

... is my passion for animals.

This was summed up during a recent powwow with a girlfriend, who doesn't share the same interest but understands exactly what animals mean to me.

She likens it to what her religion means to her and after I thought about it, it does describe exactly how ...

Warm & Fuzzy Feeling… and exhaustion

Two weddings down, two more hen's nights and two more weddings to go...

SamT's hubby was so cute at their tea ceremony. After the customary bully-the-groom activities and while he was waiting to enter the bridal room, he was visibly nervous (his hands were shaking and he was taking deep breaths!) ...
